Sticky Honey Garlic Air Fryer Pork Chops
Juicy pork chops get a glossy honey garlic glaze with soy, lemon, and a pinch of chilli. The air fryer browns them fast without a sticky pan.

These sticky honey garlic pork chops are built for weeknights: quick to prep, fast to cook, and finished with a clean reserved glaze so the surface turns shiny instead of scorched. Use boneless or bone-in chops and rely on a thermometer for juicy results.

Instructions
Air fryer:200°C / 392°F

Pat the pork chops dry. If there is a thick fat cap, make 2–3 shallow cuts through the fat edge so the chops do not curl.
Whisk the honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, Dijon, smoked paprika, black pepper, chilli flakes, and salt in a bowl.
Spoon 3 tablespoons of the glaze into a separate small bowl for brushing at the end. Keep this portion away from the raw pork.
Coat the pork chops with the remaining glaze and leave for 10 minutes while the air fryer preheats.
Preheat the air fryer to 200°C for 3 minutes. Lightly oil the basket if your model tends to stick.
Lift the chops from the marinade, letting excess drip off. Arrange in a single layer with space between them; cook in batches if needed.
Air fry for 6 minutes, then flip. Cook for another 3–5 minutes, until the chops are browned and nearly cooked through.
Mix the reserved clean glaze with the cornflour and water. Brush it over the chops and air fry for 1–2 minutes more, until glossy and sticky.
Check the thickest part with a thermometer. Pork chops should reach 63°C/145°F, then rest for at least 3 minutes before slicing.
Spoon any juices from the resting plate over the chops and finish with spring onions and lemon wedges.
Tips & tricks
- For thinner 1.5 cm chops, start checking around 8 minutes total before glazing; thick bone-in chops may need 13–15 minutes.
- If the glaze darkens too quickly, lower the temperature to 190°C for the final few minutes.
- Do not reuse marinade that touched raw pork as a finishing glaze unless you boil it thoroughly first.
- Serve with rice, mashed potatoes, green beans, or air-fried broccoli for an easy dinner.
