Crispy Balsamic Air Fryer Brussels Sprouts
Caramelised, lacy-edged Brussels sprouts with a sweet balsamic finish. The vegetable side that disappears first.

If you think you don't like Brussels sprouts, the air fryer will change your mind. High heat and circulating air turn them golden and nutty, with crackly outer leaves and tender centres. The balsamic-honey drizzle adds a sweet-tangy hit that balances the caramelised edges perfectly.
Ingredients
Instructions
Air fryer:190°C / 374°F
Trim and halve the sprouts, keeping any loose leaves — they crisp up like chips.
Toss with olive oil, salt and pepper.
Air fry at 190°C for 8 minutes, then shake the basket.
Cook for a further 5–7 minutes until deeply browned and crisp at the edges.
Whisk the balsamic and honey together, drizzle over the hot sprouts and toss.
Serve immediately while crisp.
Tips & tricks
- Cut-side down for the first few minutes gives the best caramelisation.
- Add the balsamic glaze only at the end — sugar burns fast in the air fryer.
- Finish with grated parmesan or toasted nuts for extra texture.
