Air Fryer Chocolate Chip Cookies
Warm, gooey-centred cookies in under 10 minutes — no need to heat the whole oven for a small batch.

The air fryer is secretly brilliant for small-batch cookies — golden edges, molten middles, and no need to wait for a full oven to preheat. Pull them out while the centres still look underdone; the residual heat sets them into the perfect chewy texture.
Ingredients
Instructions
Air fryer:160°C / 320°F
Cream the butter with both sugars until light and fluffy.
Beat in the egg and vanilla.
Fold in the flour, baking soda and salt until just combined, then stir through the chocolate chips.
Scoop into balls and place on a parchment round in the air fryer basket, leaving room to spread.
Air fry at 160°C for 7–8 minutes until the edges are set but the centres still look soft.
Let them rest in the basket for 3 minutes — they finish cooking as they cool.
Tips & tricks
- Lower and slower (160°C) prevents the outsides burning before the centres set.
- Chill the dough for 30 minutes for thicker cookies.
- Press a few extra chips on top before cooking for that bakery look.
